I am really extremely lucky to have the best sister in the world and today we celebrate her! My sister has been my hero from the very beginning. She is extremely talented, poised and the smartest woman I know.
People always say they could never work with their sister and I am so dumbfounded when they say that. I cannot imagine my life without her! She is my best friend and I talk to her everyday, even when we are on vacation we are in contact! Having a sister really is like having a built in friend.
She has always been there for me of course, but she also always helped I mean...DID my school projects for me. I always handed in amazing art, great papers, and kick ass assignments because of her. I have never seen someone so good at everything! She can paint, she can draw, she can craft, she can sing, she can do anything she puts her mind to and the list goes on and on! She is the most talented woman I know, and you know the best part? She is so humble, I am still to this day in awe of her.
I remember being little and wanting to be just like her. She has always inspired me and encourages me to try new things. She has helped me overcome my fears and taught me how to be self aware. She has helped mold me into the person I am today, and honestly, I cringe at the person I would be without her. I feel just so lucky to be around her and her energy brings me joy.
I am convinced we have this creepy sister bond...you know how twins have like a six sense? I really feel like we do too. We end up at the same place at the same time. We buy the same clothes even when we aren't shopping together. Almost every Christmas we buy the same gifts for each other. You would think it was rehearsed!
I remember one year for Christmas a pipe on our street had burst because of how cold it was outside and the guys working on it were freezing while trying to fix it. She wanted to make them cookies and bring them hot chocolate to help warm them up. I remember thinking she was so kind, and that I wanted to be just as kind and sweet as her. I actually made it my goal to be a good person because of her, I never wanted her to be disappointed with me. It actually would kill me.
I honestly know I am so lucky to have a sister like her. She is the sweetest, kindest, most hilarious person I know. I really feel that people who know her are so lucky. She is going to be a famous speaker one day just wait. And, when that day comes I will be the proudest sister in the world!
I love you so much Amanda and I am so happy we are in this journey together! I hope your day is as perfect as you are! <3
How adorable is she?
Have a great day!
